CCR: The Take

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. In this blog I will be posting a video of me answering the creative critical questions for my final task. I did a voiceover with my stuffed animals to get a bit creative.

Final Task

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. This is my final task film. With making this film there was lots of changes. We switched out some scenes and added some new ones. As expected we came up with new ideas when we met up to film. The phone scene was my favorite part. One scene we took out was the hostage exchange meeting. This was because we didn’t have enough people to help since Oreamo and Alanys couldn’t film with us. So, instead of Tiff having two friends in the film she had one. This same exact friend was the one who got kidnapped. For the hostage exchange part we used my cousin Neal. He even helped us record one scene. He’s only 4 years old and was very fast learning. I was in awe with how well he shot that certain clip. When editing this film we used IMovie. Using iMovie was the quickest and easiest thing to use. Per usual I forget how to use a screen recording as audio only. It took me about two try’s to get it since I haven’t used it in so long. IMovie gives us the tools for everyt

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. Tiffanie and I finished filming last Sunday. We started editing our film. We’ll continue to finish editing everything by tomorrow. So far we’ve picked out our finals scene clips. When filming we shoot several clips of the same scene just in case something was wrong. For example, the angle or what the actor was doing. This is one of easy parts of editing. We’ve also cropped, slowed down, and fastened these clips. I do all this by using IMovie. IMovie gives you these options when editing videos and it comes in very handy. That’s why when editing anything for this class I always use it. We learned some editing tips from our past projects with these films. It will come in handy especially since this film is longer. We’ve also gotten better at cropping and trimming clips. Since our videos weren’t exactly the same time that we wanted it to be we will trim it. We feel like we have been a bit more creative than we were the last time. We used iMovie because it w

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. We finished the filming process. I got back in town on Saturday. So, instead of filming on Saturday we filmed on Sunday. I met up with Tiffanie at her house at around 3 Pm. I would’ve gotten there earlier but my brother and I wanted to eat before leaving. When I got to her house we called our friends to come. They came quickly since they had a heads up to be ready. For the film we had casual outfits. Also, the props used were phones, a car, and etc. We filmed inside the house and in her neighborhood. It took awhile to find some places in her neighborhood to film because we were a bit picky with the scenery. Alanys and her little brother helped us record the shots since they were in the least amount of scenes. However, when it came to the last bit of scenes that both of them are in I made my brother record for us. Thankfully, my brother was still around the neighborhood because If he wasn’t we would have problems filming that scene. As expected the film

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. My partner and I have been planning this film. We have been giving each other different ideas on what we should do. We feel like the more creative it is the better. We were thinking about filming this Saturday. Hopefully by the time I get back we’ll still have time to complete everything. Since this is a long film it will most likely take a lot of time. It’s highly likely that we won’t be able to meet up two days back to back. So we’rehoping that one day will be enough. However, it might take longer than we expect so we have to be prepared. We have a clear vision of what our film should look like but we hope it turns out the way we want it and more. We’re going to try and do more entertaining transitions and have some interesting backgrounds to make the film look more presentable. Thankfully, I should be coming back home tomorrow. So we should be able to film on Saturday. However, if not we’ll film on Sunday. Tiffanie and I will be meeting up at 2:30 P

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. I’ll be coming back home this week. So, Tiffanie and I will be filming on Saturday or Sunday. If anything happens that doesn’t allow this then I have emergency plan. Tiffanie will either have to use someone else or change up the storyline. The change to the storyline would be Tiffanie only having one friend instead of 2. Therefore, this would be more convenient since Tiffanie has her 3 friends who agreed to help us. So, she’d have Oreamo as the friend who gets kidnapped. Alanys would be the one who kidnapped her. Lastly, we’d have Oreamo’s brother playing as Alanys little brother. We want to let them know about this contingency plan. This is so filming would be a lot easier. If they know about the plan before us meeting up it’d make things move more smoothly. For example, they would know their roles already. They are still a bit unaware of what they’ll be doing in our film because we haven’t told them. This is why we finally agreed about telling them w

Hey there, it’s Misharma again. As said in the last blog I’m still out of town. It’s expected for me to be home by next week Saturday. So we’ll either film on that Saturday or Sunday. There’s really not much to say since Tiffanie  and I haven’t started the filming process. Tiffanie’s friends are willing to help us film. They’ll be acting in the scenes with us. They’ll also be the ones recording us. I’m hoping they know how to film the angles and movements. However, if not Tiffanie and I will teach them beforehand. We taught her friend Oreamo how to film certain scenes in our last project. I hope she remembers some of the shots. However, just in case if she doesn’t we’ll refresh her memory. This is critical to our project. We have to make sure the scenes are film as correctly as possible. We may not be pros but we’re trying our best to make everything correct. Tiffanie and I are amazing partners. We always come with creative ideas to input into the work. It’s expected during filming day
